if the game was programed to delet a file, it wouldnt matter what os your using. this was a mistake (hopefuly) that could just as easly hit vista had microsoft programed vista to use the boot.ini command, or named its command boot.ini. being said ...

regardless of reason i think drones should be able ot recharge shilds in the docking bays, as you would naturally fix your fighters, and launch other fighters in their place, meaning that the damaged drones can not be launched until they are fixed...

1: the removal of local is a bad idea because those who are pveing will never have a chance, reason being if they have no advance warning by the time they see you on scanner they can not aline and warp intime to advoide the larger interdictors now...
